Well it's because i have so many people here, who believe
in me, who watch me...who maybe not watch me, but still like
my art enough to it. I have to say thanks like this,
because answering every comment ore thanking everybody in personal
for a they givin is almost not possible anymore.

Well it's because i have so many people here, who believe
in me, who watch me...who maybe not watch me, but still like
my art enough to it. I have to say thanks like this,
because answering every comment ore thanking everybody in personal
for a they givin is almost not possible anymore.

A day is to short for me, working on some commissions and
even having a first real (small) job like creating a flyer
for an event. Even friends at home are starting to recognize
my art and asking me to make stuff for them: Wedding Invitation,
Logo for a smaller firm, Flyers and t-shirt for a diving community,
Birthdayposters (instead of a card)...it doesn't stop really.

Ooh, yes and a tutorial for <a href="[link]"l>.psd PHOTOSHOP.</a>

I really thought I had a DD. I have about
1,488 Messages and that all over night.
No wonder I first thought "Yes a DD"...
but i guess this proves you don't always need
to get a DD to get some attention.
It's just to get a DD is more like a confirmation
from dA in General, maybe someday my pieces will
be good enough to get a 'real DD'

and yes, again i am featured. I'm featured on a Dutch website called
Publish. [link] Just take a peek, my piece 'Swirls of Music'
is on the main-page.
I guess the feature in Advanced Photoshop opend a lot of doors. My next
feature will be in .psd Photoshop a German Magazin. When the feature
is published I will put it up here. It will be a larger article. After that
I will be first in the Dutch Advanced Photoshop, with my piece:
' Poppins on a string '. It's going to be for sale on the 5th of May.
Then I will be published in de English version of Advanced Photoshop,
this will be in issue 57, which is on sale 21 May.
My piece 'Swirls of Music' got picked as Picture of the week on the
Advanced Photoshop website. What I didn't know is, that this also
meant I would get published in the magazine.
They are all small features, but still i feel honoured to get so far.
I never thought i would get this far when i first came on Devaintart,
almost 4 years ago. I started out just trying some stuff, now it's my
hobby and maybe one day i will be able to turn it in to a job.
Like i said last time...I never would have be able to do all this
if it wasn't for my watchers, my fans...they kept on coming back for
more. Thanks you guys!!!

This is her story, it's also written in her Journal:
Most of my dear friends here have knowledge of my 7 year survivorship of breast cancer. Yesterday, I was slammed with the news that my cancer has returned in my remaining breast as well as found in one of my lymph nodes. I'll know further extent of the spread, if any, once I have scans done next week. I'll be heading to surgery within the next week or so for another mastectomy. Another affair with chemotherapy will most likely take place after that. I'm full of mixed emotions right now, from fear to downright anger. My 7 cancer free years lulled me into a false sense of security and that absolutely sucks. As I told some friends earlier, the fear of recurrence never leaves you after a bout with cancer, but after such a good run cancer free, the fear lessens...then BAM!
She's somebody who's been suporting from the very beginning. When my artwork, wasn't even artwork...it was bad but she was there for me. She is such a loving person.

i still can't believe it. I pinch my arm and, yes, i'm awake. I got featured in this great amazing magazine "Advanced Photoshop". All this time i always looked up to everybody who's in it. All this time i tryed to be better, to be like on who's been featured in AP. Well, now i'm in it, i still don't think i'm better and i guess i always be looking up to those who are featured in AP. I never in my whole life thought, i could be good enough....and still, it's like a dream. I looked at the magazine about a 100th times and still don't realize it. I know somebody who would be very proud of me, only that somebody isn't there anymore. But i guess somehow, i know....he knows.
I also have to thank all my wathers, without you guys...i never would have been in it. It's you all that pushed me, the comments, the 's, it meant to me 'I can do it'. To get so many people watch me, was a sign...'Yes, i'm getting a bit better.' And still i'm very crytical about myself, i never think i'm good enough. That's why i try out a lot of new stuff and my art changes all the time...in my eyes 'I'm still learning'. I guess that day will never come when i will say, i'm done learning. Thanks again to all of you

if anybody needs a nother resolution for their computer, just
send me a note or let me know any other way. I'm sticking
to making wallpapers for now. It somehow gives me a good feeling
knowing peoples like them and using them to make their computers
look more beautifull. That they get stolen, well i guess i have
to live with it. That's the not so good side-effect of it. For
now i just put a small signature on my wallpapers and hope that
even when they get stolen people will know it's me who made it.
Because i'm in to making wallpapers at the moment, i'm doing a
'wallpaper-feature' of all the wallpapers i like here on dA.
I picked only the rescent ones.

Edit: I had to remove a piece because it wasn't the original owner.
The stealing never stops. Instead i'm giving you the
name of the original owner and you realy have to take a
look there, N.Design he has some amazing pieces: [link]

again, yes i couldn't believe my eyes now !CGLR has the nerv
to steel work and even keep the watermark on it. I was so angry
when i saw it. Now the same piece has been stolen twice once in
a magazin and now even here on DA. I guess some peoples would say
i'm flattered because it's such a famous piece, but still it's
mine...don't these peoples understand this.

As you can al see i did a little bit of watermarking. I normaly
don't like to do such a thing, specially on wallpapers, so I kept
it small. It's because an artwork of mine was found in a
Romanian Magazin, 'Unu si Unu'. They also have a website so I've
send them a mail to tell them they didn't have a right to do so.
So now i've started signing all my wallpapers. I hope it doesn't
come out to strong. Sorry for all those who don't like it...but
how would you feel if your artwork was stollen.




Thanks to ~draumstafur she found out and told me right
away, she also helped me with the translation of the mail.

From Art to Art...i'm doing a Feature that's called from art to art
because i think that stock is art too and i like what people can turn
it in to.

i've been messing arround with my journal. Wanting to make everything
look more cleanded up. Now i had to make a part II of my 'Special Thanks'
journal because it was becoming to big. I didn't know that a journal
could only be 60mb or so?? Well now it's all done and everything looks
CLEAN

Fixed...yes, yes, i have it back 'My precious' the one thing
i really can't live without at the moment my Adobe Photoshop.
And as you all can see i've been using it allready to create
this lovely journal. A big thanks to `ClaireJones such
a nice and simple lay-out i realy adore it. Well with the
new layout of the site it looks real good...at least so i think.



I still need to say thanks to everybody for the big
support....and i still need to say sorry, for all the 's
and run. I'm trying to keep up
