...as you all can see...and as the tittle is called:
This is my first digital painting. I didn't really had a picture as reference but i did look at some tutorials:

For the eyes i probably needed a tut too but it was the first thing i drew on the face. Then i started looking for tuts for lips and nose. As you can see the nose was the last thing i've painted...i think he looks the best

Well it's my first and i still have time to learn more...it looks crapy doesn't it (worked several days on it

)

It would be lovely to get some critiques on how to do it better or even point me out on some great tuts if you know some

I think this is very good for a first try, and I congratulate you on the nose! They are horribly difficult!

I have lately been trying out digitally painting, and I hould say that my attempts have turned out worse than this

It's a really great first try. The skin texture is very nice, not too smooth and shiny. Just remember that the space between the eyes is the same size as the eyes themselves. The link at the bottom is to Bergkvist's eye tutorial on CGSociety - it's the one I look at. I'm just trying a digital painting too, so we're in the same boat!
